Back in time #1: Twee Meter Sessies 1997

With a musical career that spans over 30 years, there’s loads of interesting dEUS stuff hanging around on the world wide web. Let’s kick off a new series on this blog with a classical dEUS-perfomance.

Back in the nineties, dEUS played two sessions in Dutch radio- and tv-show 2 Meter Sessies. The show was started in 1987 by Jan Douwe Kroeske. Kroeske persuaded New-Zealand band Crowded House to play a couple of songs in his radioshow. The response was so great that 2 Meter Sessions quickly became a household name and made a successful transition to national television in 1993. Loads of great sessions can be found on the show’s Youtube-channel.
