Trivia
  • The phrase "Gentlemen, include me out" is attributed to film producer Samuel Goldwyn who is famous for his unintentionally witty comments, or "Goldwynisms" (which were actually a result of his sometimes poor English, since Goldwyn was a Polish immigrant originally)
  • The introduction ("Hello from the children of Planet Earth") is from an English radio broadcast about the first spaceship. The band recorded it by chance, when they turned on an old radio, soon after they'd chosen the spacecraft-themed artwork by Don Lawrence
  • Include Me Out was recorded during the shaky period that followed Craig and Danny's departure. The original title of the song was Firewinds, as announced by Tom on the dEUS website in April 2005.

(Hello from the children of planet Earth)

Where have I seen this before?
When will I feel it again?
Somebody opened a door
I’m afraid to walk in
Imagination will kill
If imagination stands still
I read it in an open book
Read it in an open book

Oh man, I read it in books of laughter
Oh man, I read it in books of pain

Why are you talking to me?
Cause I’m not really there
Like a spirit that’s free
I’m as light as the air

Oh man, as light as the air and floating
Oh man, as light as the air and floating

Take me on
Where the fire wind blows
Or where a fallen leaf stays for days
On your shoulders
Cause all I need
Is to find my own
And that summering drone
Illicit and golden

Oh Lord where have I seen this before?
Oh Lord when will I feel it again?

Read it in every move
Read it in every game
Read it in what you do
Read it in everything

Oh man, as light as the air and floating
Oh man, as light as the air and floating

Take me on
Where the fire wind blows
Cause when time stands still
I wait until
It’s over
And all I need
Is to find my own
And that summering drone
Illicit and golden
